This disc was released by Tamilhdaudio. The digital media (audio/sound) holds multimedia data encoded in PCM format @ 48000 Hz, 16-Bit, six channels (FL, FR, C, LFE, LS, RS). This disc gives real surround sound when played with DVD Audio compatible player connected to home theater either  via Analog or Optical/Coaxial output to HT. Blu-ray Players - HD AUDIO

To enjoy HD Audio - Blu-ray Players

   Now a days Blu-ray players are all with HDMI, Optical/Coaxial Outputs. Analogue output for composite video and audio (2 Jacks, Red and White, for Stereo) only.

   HDMI - can be connected to HDTV, delivers video and decoded audio in stereo

   Optical/Coaxial - Can be connected to AV receiver with digital audio decoder (AC3, dts, dts-HD MAS, dolby True HD, Dolby Digital Plus, depends upon the data)

                

   Analogue Output (Video and Audio) - Video to any display devices compatible with SD (Standard Definition such as CRT type TVs, Monitors and LCD) video analogue input to receive composite video signals and analogue audio jacks to connect any speaker systems.

   It is difficult to connect the existing Home Theatres with analogue inputs (do not built in with digital decoders) ans could not enjoy the real surround sound if the input source is with it.

   Modern players are started to incorporate with some type of digital audio decoders and output to analog which can be connected to the HT with analogue input only.

   Blu-ray Disc player that has one HDMI output, and a set of 5.1/7.1 channel analog outputs, we can connect the HDMI output of the Blu-ray Disc player directly to the TV for the video and connect the 5.1/7.1 channel analog outputs of the Blu-ray Disc player into the 5.1/7.1 channel analog audio inputs of the home theater receiver, if the home theater receiver is equipped with this feature. In this category Blu-ray Disc player will do all the needed audio decoding of Dolby True-HD and/or DTS-HD Master Audio Blu-ray soundtracks and pass those signals to the receiver as unompressed PCM signals. The sound quality will be the same - we won't see Dolby True-HD or DTS-HD Master Audio displayed on the home theater receiver's front panel display - it will display PCM instead.

   If the player does not have 5.1 /7.1 channel analog audio outputs - we can still connect the HDMI connection of the Blu-ray Disc player directly to the TV for the video, but for audio we have to connect the player's digital optical or digital coaxial output to the receiver for the audio. In this connection, only be able to access standard Dolby Digital and DTS signals - not Dolby True-HD or DTS-HD Master Audio.

   To enjoy Dolby True-HD or DTS-HD Master Audio, AV receivers with HDMI input can be connected with Blu-ray players, using another one HDMI (if the player with two HDMI ports). In some cases of AV receiver, there are HDMI input (to connect/receive signal from source) as well as HDMI output (to deliver signal to TV for Video) without quality loss.

       The BDP73xx/F7 has 8 different analogue audio outputs. These outputs are at line level or a very low output signal. An external amplifier is required to listen to the audio from the outputs.

       The output signal on these connectors depends on the setting of the player and the type of media loaded in the player. The analogue outputs are labelled as FL, FR, SL, SR, C, SW, SBL and SBR.

DVD AUDIO and PLAYER - An Introduction

DVD-Audio: Ultra-High-Resolution Music

   DVD-Audio offer higher resolution sound - provide multichannel surround sound music - these discs look exactly like standard  DVDs - require a player that can handle this formats  - additionally to enjoy multichannel music, there will be need a receiver with 5.1-channel inputs and a home theater speaker setup.

   DVD-Audio uses completely different technology to achieve its ultra-high-resolution performance. Instead of abandoning the PCM audio technology, this was improved. DVD-Audio discs take advantage of higher sampling rates — up to 192 kHz, compared to 44.1 kHz for standard CDs. Plus, DVD-Audio discs use the Meridian Lossless Packing (MLP) system that allows discs to hold up to seven times as much information as standard PCM CDs. The result is richer, more detailed sound. Nearly all DVD-Audio discs are engineered for surround sound with up to six discrete channels of high-definition audio, though there are some ultra-high-resolution 2-channel recordings, too.  

   DVD-Audio is primarily a hi-fidelity audio format. Special player to access the ultra-high-resolution performance of DVD-Audio discs, special player must need - there are currently quite a few universal players that handle DVD-Audio discs. All  DVD-Audio players also play standard CDs and many play DVD-Video discs.

   DVD-Audio is the now mostly-dead high-resolution audio (and video) format that competed with the also mostly-failed SACD disc format from Sony. DVD-Audio players could play both stereo and 5.1 surround sound discs. They had video output (unlike SACD), as well as backwards compatibility with DVD-Video discs. 

   DVD-Audio's highest level of audio came via Meridian Lossless Packing (MLP) which was a codec that could reproduce a convincing copy of the master tape mixed in stereo or 5.1 surround. Record labels in their infinite wisdom forced consumers to use 5.1 analog outputs for MLP because of fears of piracy. 

Certain Blu-ray players, like those from Denon, Marantz, and Oppo, are able to play back DVD-Audio discs.
